A good day to visit TerraSante, get a tour, and help with cleanup & projects.  Overnight camping is available.
    9 am - Community work party
    Noon - Lunch provided (bring food to share if you like)
    1 pm - Work party resumes
    3 pm - Community meeting on tuesdays
    6 pm - Dinner & movies (bring food or video to share if you like)

2011 March 19 Sat & 20 Sun - Spring Equinox Sustainability Weekend
    from 9 am to 5 pm Saturday & Sunday at TerraSante Village TerraSante Village will host a hands-on event exploring sustainability.
Planned talks / workshops / events include: Saturday
10 am - noon - Native plant walk - Danny August
      1 - 3 pm - Growing plants in the desert - Victoria White
      3 - 4 pm - desert off-grid technology demo - chris vansprouts
Saturday night full moon potluck dinner & drumming circle - bring something to share. Sunday
10 am - noon - Earthbag and ferrocement building - Bruce Scher
      1 - 3 pm - Sustainability from an indigenous view - Martha Dominguez & Danny August
Other topics / workshops to be determined by the interests and skills of those attending - permaculture, earthen building, ferrocement, solar hot water, photovoltaics, communication, community, ecovillage creation, etc. Overnight camping is available.  Suggested donation $25 with advance registration, $30 at the door.
